SHIPPING POLICY

At 2nd Debut Furniture, we specialize in unique, high-quality pieces that require extra care. Because of the size and delicate nature of our inventory, we do not offer standard postal shipping (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) at this time.

Currently, our delivery services are limited to the Houston Area.

Customers within the Houston area have two ways to receive their items:

  • In-Store Pickup (Free): You are welcome to pick up your purchase directly from our physical showroom in Houston. Please bring any necessary padding or tie-downs to secure your furniture.
  • Professional Truck Delivery: We offer a specialized delivery service using our own trucks and team to ensure your furniture arrives safely.
    Our delivery fees are based on the distance from our store and the number of items:

Within a 5-mile Radius $50 $100
5 miles to 10 miles Radius $75 $125
10 miles to 15 mile Radius $100 $150
15 miles to 20 mile Radius $150 $200
20+ miles $200 $250+

Customers Outside of Houston
If you are located outside of the Houston area (anywhere else in the USA) and wish to purchase an item, please contact us at (713) 782-0300 before completing your payment.
We are currently working on securing a reliable third-party shipping partner to serve our national customers. Until then, we handle out-of-area requests on a case-by-case basis to discuss specialized freight options and custom quotes.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

  • Delivery Fee Adjustments: Please note that the delivery fee calculated at checkout is a base rate determined by your distance from our store and the number of items purchased. Because furniture varies significantly in size, weight, and handling requirements, this fee is subject to adjustment.

    After your order is placed, a member of our team will contact you to finalize the delivery details. Factors that may result in an additional surcharge include:
  1. Item Type: Extremely heavy or oversized pieces (e.g., large armoires or stone-top tables).
  2. Floor Level: Deliveries involving stairs, narrow hallways, or elevator access.
  3. Special Equipment: Any unique tools or extra personnel required for a safe delivery.

  • Final Agreement & Coordination
    All online delivery fees are considered pending until we have spoken with you directly to confirm the logistics and safety of the drop-off location. We reserve the right to adjust the final total based on these variables.

  • Condition & Cancellation Fees
  1. In-Home Requirements: If our team arrives and is unable to complete the delivery due to the condition or cleanliness of the space, or if the path is deemed unsafe/inaccessible, a fee of 50% of the agreed-upon delivery rate will be charged.
  2. Change of Mind: If you decide not to move forward with the purchase or delivery once our truck has been dispatched, a 50% service fee will apply.

  • Safety First
    To protect our team and your home, our drivers have the final say on whether a delivery can be safely completed. If a delivery is deemed a safety risk, we will work with you to find an alternative solution, such as a threshold drop-off or in-store pickup.
