What We Accept?

2nd Debut Furniture specializes in high-quality, current, and classic furnishings that are in good condition. If you wouldn't buy it now, we likely can't accept it.

Item Condition Standard Accepted Categories Unaccepted Conditions
Good condition: Allitems must be clean, in good condition, and free of smoke and pet odors.Upholstered furniture must be well-maintained, with no obvious signs of wear orsun damage. Furniture: Dining, living room, bedroom, office, and outdoor furniture. Items in poor condition, very large or very heavy items, chandeliers, large entertainment centers.
Current & Timeless Style: We accept brand-name furnishings in transitional, contemporary, classic, and vintage styles that are currently popular with our buyers. Decor & Home Goods: Artwork, rugs (small, and medium sizes), high-quality lighting, crystal, and decorative accessories for indoor and outdoor spaces. Items made of particle board or knock-down assembly. Outdated styles (e.g., large entertainment centers, roll-top desks).
Construction: Itemsmust be of quality construction, made with durable metals or high-end materials(low-quality products or those with visible damage will not be accepted). Special items: Accentpieces for indoor or outdoor home decor and unique, eye-catching pieces. Furniture with obvious stains, severe discoloration, or smell of tobacco or pets.

Selling your items with 2nd Debut Furniture is a straightforward, worry-free experience designed to get your items sold efficiently.

Submission & Pre-Approval

Please email photos of your furniture and home goods to sales@2nddebutfurniture.com for inspection and approval. Our specialists will inspect the design and condition of the item for approval, which you will receive via email.

Expert Review & Contract

You can deliver these items to our showroom in Houston, or if you prefer, we also offer a pickup service, and we will sign a 90-day contract.

Transfer & Display

Our specialists eitems. they price items based on style, condition, brand name and them knowledge of the resale market.

Sale & Payment

We actively promote your item in our online store and at our Houston showroom. Once sold, a check for your portion of the proceeds will be issued, which you can pick up starting on the 15th of the following month. If you are not in Houston city limits we will mail the check to you.



Consignment Policies

Consignment Term & Return

Items are offered for sale for a period of 90 days. If they are not sold, the consignor must collect the item within a 14-day grace period after the deadline; otherwise, it will be donated to a charity.

Pricing Authority

2nd Debut Furniture retains sole authority for determining the final selling price based on current market demand, brand value, and the item's condition.

Quality Guarantee

We assure buyers that the quality declared online exactly matches the product shipped. This is guaranteed by our required professional inspection of all consignment items.

Payment Terms

We pay consignors with checks on the 15th of every month. If you are not in Houston city limits, we will mail the check to you. If you are within Houston city limits you can pick your check up on the 15th or after, at the store.
